Privacy Policy
Effective October 2026
This policy explains what information LEAF9 LLC (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit leaf9.com, use the GrowthMap™ app at leaf9.com/app/, buy a digital product, or hire us for a project, and what we do with it. We are a small agency in Venice, Florida, and we wrote this in plain English on purpose.
The short version: we collect what we need to deliver what you asked for, we use a handful of trusted service providers to do it (including AI providers that help generate your plan), we do not sell your personal information, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form, apply for work, create an account, buy something or email us, we collect what you provide, such as:
- Your name, email address, phone number and business name.
- Details about your business: your website address, industry, goals, budget, marketing channels and the answers you give inside the GrowthMap™ app.
- Voice notes you record in the app, and the text transcribed from them.
- Messages and files you send us.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. We receive a record of the purchase (what you bought, the amount, and your name and email).
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our providers collect basic technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and campaign tags in the link you followed (such as UTM parameters). We use cookies and similar technologies for this (see “Cookies, pixels and analytics” below).
Public information about your business. If you give us your website address, the app may read the public pages of that website to understand your business and tailor your plan.
How we use your information
- To provide what you asked for: answer your inquiry, review your application, deliver digital products, run your GrowthMap™ account and do project work.
- To generate your plan and other content inside the app with the help of AI services.
- To process payments, send receipts and keep business and tax records.
- To send you emails about your account, your purchase or your project, and, if you choose to receive them, occasional marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time with the link in each email.
- To understand how people use the site and improve it, and to measure and improve our advertising.
- To keep the site and app secure, prevent fraud and comply with the law.
AI services and how your business information is processed
The GrowthMap™ app uses third-party AI services to turn your answers into a plan. When you use those features, the business information you enter (and the transcript of any voice note) is sent to AI providers to generate your results. Today these are:
- Anthropic, which generates plans and written content from your answers.
- ElevenLabs, which transcribes voice notes you record.
- Firecrawl, which reads the public pages of the website you give us.
We send these providers only what the feature needs, through their business APIs. Please do not enter information you would not want processed this way, such as customer records, health information, or passwords and account numbers. We review providers’ terms before using them, and we will update this list if it changes.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, under their own privacy and security terms:
- Netlify hosts the website and receives the forms you submit on it.
- Supabase provides sign-in and the database behind the app.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Resend delivers our emails.
- Anthropic, ElevenLabs and Firecrawl power the AI features described above.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) receives website activity for ad measurement if we run ads (see below).
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information).
Cookies, pixels and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in to the app, to remember your preferences, and to understand how visitors use the site.
We plan to use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API, which share information about your visit (such as the pages you view, purchases, form submissions and, for the Conversions API, a scrambled (hashed) version of your email or phone number) with Meta so we can measure our ads and show them to people likely to find them useful. Meta’s use of that information is governed by Meta’s own privacy policy.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings. Blocking cookies may stop parts of the app, such as staying signed in, from working.
How long we keep information
We keep your account and app data for as long as your account is open. We keep inquiry and application details for as long as they are useful for the conversation, and no longer than three years after our last contact unless you become a client. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require (generally seven years). When you ask us to delete your information, we delete it or remove what identifies you, except what we must keep by law.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy.
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Delete your information and close your account.
- Stop sending you marketing emails.
To make a request, email ben@leaf9.com from the address on your account (or tell us how to verify that the request is yours). We will respond within 30 days, and within the time the law in your state requires if that is shorter. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
California and other US state residents. Laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act give you the rights above (to know, correct and delete), plus the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information. If we use the Meta Pixel for advertising, that can count as “sharing” under California law; you can opt out by emailing us, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals from your browser. You may also use an authorized agent to make a request for you.
Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee security, but we will tell you without unreasonable delay if a breach affects your personal information, as the law requires.
Children
Our site, app and products are for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Where your information is processed
We are based in the United States, and our providers process information in the United States and other countries. If you use the site from outside the US, you understand that your information will be processed in the US.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email or in the app before it takes effect.
